As "Principal in Charge" Ed brings more than 35 years experience in the security technology industry. His expertise as a security systems project manager / designer has been requested by clients in Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia and throughout Canada and the USA. Ed brings a depth of experience in Corrections, Healthcare, Transportation and Utilities.

Elma Punzal

Senior Designer


Elma is a key member of the REI team and is the senior designer responsible for technical drawings. She brings over 17 years of work experience in engineering consulting specializing in the design of electronics and communication systems for buildings.

Lloyd Ponto

Security Systems Designer


Lloyd is an expert on all aspects of security alarm installation and service including: Access Control installation programming and service remote administration; database management of access control systems. CCTV installation, programming and service. His primary focus has been on larger commercial system integration of Access Control with CCTV, Intercom and Security Alarms.

Nanine Horvers

CAD Designer


Nanine is a key member of the REI team and is responsible for designing technical drawings and schedules. She has worked as a CAD designer in Electrical Engineering industry for over 10 years.

Robert Bogart, RCDD

IT Infrastructure Design Consultant


A results driven Manager with extensive experience in network systems deployment including design, planning, installation and operation of networks, systems & services. Robert offers in-depth technology expertise that includes: design of structured cable systems, PBX, VoIP, Video Conferencing and Wireless systems

Steve Rautenbach has accumulated over 20 years of industry experience. He has worked as a field technician, team leader & project specialist for several leading security system integrators. Steve is trained & certified in a wide range of security equipment, including both hardware & software. With his in-depth knowledge of physical security applications, code requirements and industry best practices; Steve has a proven record with the design & implementation of integrated security and control systems

Victoria Walsh, P.Eng

Design Engineer


Victoria obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta in 1992. She achieved professional standing with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (APEGBC) in 1996. Working with one of the largest electrical consulting firms in British Columbia, she had the opportunity to work on a number of important electrical and security projects including the Vancouver International Airport Authority, Electronic Arts Burnaby, and Ballard Power Systems.

Following many successful years as a Design Engineer and Project Manager in the construction industry she turned her attention to computer science. After completing the Professional Computer Science Technology program at Langara College, she worked overseas as a client-server programmer. After her return to Canada she gained invaluable experience with software projects while working in Quality Assurance on software for the management of large-scale construction projects.

Currently Victoria works with REI specializing in security system design and software development.

Our Services
